Is going to deliver. I don't doubt it. They made this gaming generation what it is with graphics. Without Gears, I doubt people would care about Uncharted in terms of graphics. In gameplay Gears is also solid. These guys live to impress. So it's all G...
I'll say this if the game play is truly enhanced, animations updated, the game engine really expanded in it's feature set then this could be big. The fact that they are putting more polish on the title, calling it a game. Means that it's playable in some form. Also seeing as how Gears 2 was released in 2008. That means they will have had three years of development time with the title being scheduled to appear in 2011. Which allows for more refinement similar to what PS3 games have been able t...
My gut keeps saying it's a Natal related title. I remember when Jimmy had the Natal on the show, the world went crazy about the device. So what better way to build up a buzz, reintroduce Natal, then on the late night show that exploded the tech to the masses? That's just where I'm leaning.
I'm not mad if another Gears game does appear. I'd much rather Epic do what they did with Gears, and wow us with something totally new. That way they would have launched two great IP's in one generation. Then at the same time crap on folks who keep hating on the Unreal Engine 3. A real good middle finger would do nice. Show us what you got Epic, and make it Epic!
Do whatever they want. So long as it's a great game, adds something new, and makes up for some of the short falling of the previous 2. Gears 2 was better than the first. I enjoyed the campaign, I just wish there was variety in the way some of the gameplay was. At the same time I understand the position Epic was in. It's not like they took five years to make it *cough Killzone 2 cough*. Gears of War was a great game, and they wanted to give us more of the same. Just better. I believe they did ...
PS3 fanboys trying to convince gamers that three good looking exclusives on their platform mean that the PS3 is some graphic powerhouse? They keep using unsubstantiated arguments like only exclusives show off the true power of a console. How do you know that those titles can only on be done on the PS3 console? You sure it can't be done on Xbox 360? Where's your proof if you believe that?
The last time I recalled both multiplatform, and exclusive games look great on the Xbox 360....
Some put out an article like this. I swear before this whole 3d craze a friend of mine's Bravia 1080p big screen had me going crazy. Gears of War 2 tripped me out by looking like it was in 3d. I've been suspicious of 3d tv tech for a long time.
You guys go hard to hate on all things Natal don't you? Just can't stand the fact that this is real? I don't get it. There are three threads of some of you guys acting like he said Jesus is in a box. All because the man said that Natal games will surprise people? Seriously? Wow...
Another thing at GDC what was the difference between the Sony Move tech demos and what Microsoft showed off last year with Natal? I haven't seen many articles of folks jumping up and down screaming for...
Give the man way more credit. If folks did not get so up in arms about his comments it wouldn't matter. I mean Ken Kuturagi was one of the worst, Itagaki is a flamer, Gabe Newell; etc. At the end of the day you have people in gaming who are going to speak their mind. So for Arron working at Microsoft you guys expect him to jerk off Sony and smile at him? Give me a break. They you guys are talking about friendly competition. You can't be serious? Going back to the Genesis/Snes wars there were ...
Is that all of the tech required to have two chips in Natal before have been modified to be on one chip. They've also enhanced Natal from a software side as well, which was reported earlier this year. Basically what we saw at E3 2009 was old tech, and the new version of Natal is improved. That's why they are calling it a "system on a chip".
This will bring cost down, and improve functionality. Most have been reading the quotes, but not the article in totality to get th...
Console game to date. I haven't been paying much attention to this title. Then I saw some movies, and a friend of mine just picked it up (No it's not pirated either).Popped in Uncharted 2 for the PS3...Uh yeah, been bested with Metro for sure. At first I thought only Mass Effect 2 gave trumped Uncharted 2. I am in shock, completely blindsided by this game. Wow...
Believe Metal Gear, and Kojima belong to them? Didn't Metal Gear become part of gaming's lexicon on Nintendo's NES? I mean I distinctly remember me, and my friend paying for it in the toy shop. I don't remember a Playstation system at the time. I mean I would have remembered.
Then to top it off you have folks using logic like "If yo's was is a realz Metchal Geaaars fan y've buy es PS3". Huh? wtf?...Are you guys serious? Most Japanese publishers, and developers are worr...
They are not helping by staying at IW. They need to all hire a damn lawyer asap, and get an injunction on any Call of Duty title till an investigation, and litigation is done. It should be court ordered. Any lawyers here know if that's legal to do?
By people who think that Kojima, and his team are going to disgrace the legacy of the Metal Gear franchise by delivering a broken game. As if they would really just create crap in Metal Gear Solid: Rising. In fact I'd venture to say that most of the same people who worked on the other games in the series are on board for this title. They could also be the same folks who worked on Zone of Enders 2. I just think haters are dumb, and like to be idiots just to have something to say. Like you real...
How there is no argument how much the Sony Move is a rip off of the Wii. So you can pick on Peter for saying what everyone is thinking/knowing. If the Sixaxis and Eyetoy work fine as motion controls then why does Sony need the Move? I mean how many perpherials do you need to get motion control going? Add insult to injury how many gamers did not like the Sixaxis? Enough for Sony to be forced to release the D3 controller, and give gamers rumble back. So yeah with the limited amount of games tha...
It would be easy to say "Well he works for the competition"...Fine like him stating the obvious about Sony Move. It's obvious that Sony has gone straight to literally ripping Nintendo off. Then to say that all the games on the Wii can now be sent to the PS3. Well They might as well call Nintendo and give them a percentage of profits.
The difference between what the Move is and what Natal is this. Sony's Move does absolutely nothing that the Wiimote does not. Add in the ...
